Where Mini-Splits Make Sense
A ductless system carries refrigerant to the room instead of air, so it needs a line set and a hole the size of your wrist rather than a duct chase. That opens up the spaces a central system was never going to reach.

The Room That Was Added Later
A porch closed in, a garage converted, a bonus room finished above one — the house gains a room, and the system that heats and cools the rest of it does not change to match. One head on the wall leaves the rest of the house on the system it already has, and gives the new room its own control.

What We Provide
Full mini-split installation and repair. We'll assess the space, explain what the system will and won't do, and give you the cost before anything is ordered.
That middle part is the one people skip. A ductless system is very good at conditioning the room it is mounted in and does nothing at all for the room around the corner, so how many heads a space needs — and where they go — is worth settling before the equipment is on a truck.
If a mini-split isn't the right answer for your situation, we'll tell you that instead.

A Mini-Split in a Metal Shop
We installed a mini-split in a metal shop — it's in our project gallery. That kind of space is exactly what this equipment is for.
A metal building has no ductwork to extend, no attic to run it through, and a shell that changes temperature with the weather. Hanging one head on the wall is the whole installation.
Inside: the indoor head mounted high on the shop wall, clear of the bench and the storage below it. 
Outside: the condenser hung on the same building's corrugated metal wall.
